You find an old YouTube account. The username is simple. 666. You click it. Nothing happens. The account has been suspended. That’s probably where you should stop. But according to one of YouTube’s oldest internet horror stories, there’s a way to get inside. Refresh the page. Again. And again. And again. At first, nothing changes. […]
You wake up in the middle of the night. The room is dark. Your phone says 3:00 a.m. For a moment, you aren’t sure what woke you. Then you hear it. Soft. Somewhere beyond your bedroom door. “Hee-hee.” You lie perfectly still. Maybe you imagined it. Maybe something outside made the noise. Then it comes
The screen is almost completely black. No graphics. No music. No character standing in front of you waiting for instructions. Just a few lines of text glowing on an old computer monitor. You’re standing in a dark room. Moonlight comes through the window. Nearby are three objects: Gold. A shovel. A rope. There’s a door
You know that feeling when you replay a childhood game? At first, it feels exactly as you remember. The music. The graphics. The familiar monsters. Now imagine if it wasn’t. Deep in the mountains of Japan, hidden beyond old roads and dark tunnels, there is said to be a village where the laws of the outside world no longer apply. A place where phones
It Didn’t Look Scary at First At first glance, Petscop looked harmless. An old PlayStation game uploaded to YouTube by someone calling himself Paul. No dramatic intro. No screaming. No blood. Just blurry gameplay footage from a game almost nobody had ever heard of. The graphics looked outdated even by late-90s standards. Bright green fields. Blocky rooms.
They Don’t Force Their Way Inside Most people imagine monsters breaking in. A smashed window.A splintered lock.Something violent waiting on the other side of the door. But the Black-Eyed Children don’t work that way. They knock. Politely. And according to the stories, they wait for permission. That’s the part people remember most afterward—not the eyes,
